Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Marketing Specialist (SEO) to manage end-to-end digital marketing strategies for a portfolio of up to 200 clients. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in SEO and digital marketing, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. From SEO optimization and Google Ads to directory management, reporting, and client communication—this is a hands-on role responsible for the entire lifecycle of client success.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for each client, fostering long-term relationships built on trust, communication, and performance.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins via phone, email, and video to review progress, share insights, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Proactively address client concerns with clarity and a solution-first mindset.
  • Educate clients on digital strategies, campaign performance, and evolving SEO/advertising trends.
  • Recommend strategic service upgrades (e.g., SEO, Google Ads, Social Media) based on individual business goals.


Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Create and implement custom digital marketing strategies tailored to client objectives.
  • Develop full-scope SEO plans including on-page, off-page, and technical optimizations.
  • Set up and manage Google Business Profiles, directory listings, and Google Ads campaigns with precision.
  • Oversee website enhancement projects, including content updates and internal linking structures.
  • Coordinate with internal designers, content creators, and developers when needed to support campaign goals.


Campaign & Website Optimization

  • Perform detailed SEO audits on client websites to identify areas for technical and content improvement.
  • Optimize on-page SEO elements including meta tags, headers, keyword placements, alt text, and schema markup.
  • Implement off-page SEO strategies such as backlink development and directory submissions.
  • Align content creation strategies with current keyword trends and search intent data.


Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor campaign and SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Deliver detailed monthly reports highlighting successes, learnings, and next-step recommendations.
  • Identify trends in campaign performance and make real-time adjustments to improve ROI.


Market & Industry Trend Analysis

  • Stay current with industry best practices, algorithm updates, and platform changes.
  • Apply up-to-date knowledge to continuously refine strategies and outpace competitors.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, or account management (agency experience a plus).
  • Proven experience in a client-facing or customer service role.


Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proficient in tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and CRM platforms.
  • Experience managing Google Ads and Google Business Profiles.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace); basic HTML/CSS/JS a plus.
  • Ability to interpret marketing data, generate insights, and optimize strategy accordingly.
